Things are warming up...
wow...the northerly wind has kept us cool so far this year but the sun is ever more persistent and the sand increasingly warm on our toes.
The summer is nearly upon us, and temperatures both in and out of the water are on the up. That northerly though!!!
The wind has certainly kept us a little bit in check with a few beanies still to be seen. As we hit the dizzying heights of 14°c people are starting to hit the beach more and more.....there's even been a few of the usuals parading their deep shade of painful looking red on the beaches...feel the burn...and not in a workout kind of way!
We're on to website number 3 now.....what a vacuous minefield that is, but we're getting there. Paying for website services that really don't function seems quite common and theres really very little protection consumers have when you read their Ts & Cs..... fingers crossed with this one!
Conditions have been variable for Paddle boarding....depending on experience and goals. Some lovely flat days, some equally lovely days with a nice swell and some really messy days where the ocean was a little like a blender and it takes twice as long to get anywhere!
The season ahead is sure to be full of adventures though....hires, lessons, swims, courses, boot camps, iSUP, Surf, Kayak........maybe the odd sand castle competition and some giveaways too.
